Dreamland Lyrics
-
Another great old song from GORDON LIGHTFOOT. Who's one of the greatest folk music Hero's of all time. Who's bird won't stop singing until God calls him back home. So until then He keeps on singing, where this ''Dreamland'' song of His I believe is about the ''unrealistic optimism of love'' where the dreamer's dream seems to be setting in a ''Dreamland'' By way of this Woman's eversearching dream for love and adventure that was way too high and up above the real world and the real love ''that She once had in Her hands. In a time with Him when learning and walking IT together through the gutters of the streets. But He had to let go of Her that wanted to keep chasing the illusion of Her rainbows dream to the end. By which He was left behind and willing to still love Her when She came around to the reality She once knew.
