Green Day: Geek Stink Breath Meaning
Song Released: 1995
Geek Stink Breath Lyrics
I made my decision
To lead a path of self destruction
A slow progression
Killing my complexion
And it's rotting out my teeth
I'm on a roll
No self comtrol
I'm blowing off steam with methanphetamine
Don't know what I...

Well, the video was of his friend going to the dentist to get all his teeth pulled out due to the use of meth.
-
Simple ... Meth destroys your FREAKING LIFE
-
This song is about being addicted to meth.
-
This is a song about Methamphetamines (Speed) that BJ Armstrong used to abuse up to and possibly including the recording of the Insomniac EP.
Verse 1 -
I'm on a mission
I made my decision
To lead a path of self destruction
A slow progression
Killing my complexion
And it's rotting out my teeth
-Referring to his slowly deteriorating state-
-Physiological effects of Meth-
Chorus
I'm on a roll
No self control
I'm blowing off steam with methamphetamine
Don't know what I want
That's all that I've got
And I'm picking scabs off my face
-Same theme, an addict out of control, meth heads pick scabs caused by the tweeking effect, also, it rots teeth out (as illustrated with the dentistry in the video)-
Verse 2
Every hour my blood is turning sour
And my pulse is beating out of time
I found a treasure
filled with sick pleasure
And it sits on a thick white line
-Addiction, tweaking, and intensified/erratic heartbeat-
-White line would infer he snorts it-
An so on...Brain Stew is also about Meth. Brain Stew more refers to the fact that it is extremely difficult to sleep when on Meth. So much so that one might begin to hallucinate due to lack of sleep. The song of Brain Stew is basically the "come down" of Meth, with Jaded being the "re-up". In Jaded, he apparently believes that sobriety is too difficult to obtain and that he is doomed to exist as a Meth addict. -
This song is about the band seeing people that they know get addicted to drugs and have it ruin their lives.
