Green Day: St. Jimmy Meaning
St. Jimmy Lyrics
St. Jimmy
St. Jimmy's comin' down across the alleyway
Up on the boulevard like a zip gun on parade
Light of a silhouette
He's insubordinate
Coming at you on the count of 1,2,1,2,3,4!
My name is Jimmy and you better not wear...

I personally don't the ST Jimmy is JOS. I just prefere to think of them as two differen't people. I like the story better this way. ^^
Okay, I think St Jimmy is this young adult who ran away from home, only his parents live in the city. He's pretty much a hard, tough guy who seems to be suicidal. I think personally (don't through lemons at me yet!) that JOS met St Jimmy and kind of looked up to him. St Jimmy in a way looked after JOS and I think JOS got rather attached to him.
I love St Jimmy AND JOS, so would prefer them to be differen't people. :P and who knows what it is anyway. Just have your own opinions.
And in Novacain I don't think it would have made sence if St Jimmy was JOS. -
Yer I see what you mean with the ESTABUSHMENT but maybe it is just the font or maybe it is like a bit of a secret message not really sure.. Sorry
-
St. Jimmy is more of a danger to himself than to anyone else. He has interpersonal issues, but the most important thing that he wants others to know about him is that he is tough and hard. He has a good side that most people don't see.
-
This song is about the Jesus of Suburbia character's rebel side. And when St. Jimmy dies, he goes back to being JOS.
