Imagine Dragons - Nothing Left to Say Meaning

Nothing Left to Say Lyrics
I've been awake now?
The shadows on my wall don't sleep
They keep calling me, beckoning
Who knows what's right?
The lines keep getting thinner
My age has never made me wise
But I keep pushing on and on and on and...

I think that it's about someone who is suicidal, where comes the phrase "there's nothing left to say now, I'm giving up now". In the statment "I just keep pushing on and on and on", it might mean that his life isn't worth living, it just keeps going pointlessly. Also, he might be very confused about his decision, evidence in the phrase "who knows, whats right, the lines keep getting thinner"

I think this song represents the artists' feelings about life and how things aren't always perfect. The line "my age has never made me wise" suggests that the artist is speaking his faults and accepting them. This could also be linked to the song "demons" which is about things that have been done wrong and regrets people may have. I love both of these songs and pretty much the rest of the night visions soundtrack because the lyrics and music are just epic and when combined to make one epic CD, they're even better!
