Jefferson Airplane: White Rabbit Meaning
Song Released: 1967
White Rabbit Lyrics
One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're...

In my opinion Jefferson Airplane is saying something to adults; Watch out what can be hidden in books/movies for children. Often times children find the 'mishaps' in their story books and movies, so maybe they're also saying something about much parents pay attention to what they get their children. Things are not always as they seem and everything deserves a second glance.
I think the band is also trying to encourage people to think a little deeper. There is a hidden meaning in almost everything. -

It was basically written as a message to bitter parents of drug-users... If you read your kids fairy-tales like alice in wonderland don't expect them to object to drug experimentation.

I think this song is about drugs, and referring them to alice in wonderland. Or it isn't about drugs at all but the singer was trippin on something and wrote a song about alice in wonderland
