Jim Croce captured the 'Ultimate Kiss Off' message in his song "One Less Set Of Footsteps" from his 2nd ABC Records LP release "Life And Times". ..Footsteps had been blasting the "Top 40" airwaves in early 1973 only to be overshadowed by another cut from the same LP "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" which became Jim Croce's 1st # 1 hit giving him a 'Gold Record' in mid-summer of 1973.
