I'll Be Alright Without You Lyrics
-
it's about someone who is grasping at straws to put a positive spin on being broken up with. "There is someone else, I keep telling myself" is a hope that he is telling himself. "Love's an empty place, I can't replace" - but hoping that he can. It is, essentially, a "pep talk" to try to deal with the loss of a love.
-
It's about someone who doesn't love they're lover. They will be alright without them because he doesn't love her anymore.
