If The World Was Ending Lyrics
and in traffic
I didn't feel it
when the earthquake happened
but it really got me thinking
were you drinking
were you in the living room
chilling watching television?
its been a year now
thinking I've figured out...

This song is about 2 lovers, who decided to separate for some reason. A tragedy (the earthquake) happens, and it make both of them think of how they would want to be together if (in the unlikely situation) the “world was ending”. They know that while they have separated, they would wan’t to be together for this situation

When I listen to this song I can picture the two of them wanting to be together. I can literally see it. I see her raising her right hand to gently place it on his smooth shaven cheek and to look deeply into his eyes as she had done many times before. They were fools to have let each other go. Unfortunately, the world is ending and after many years apart, the only thing they will get to say to each other is goodbye.

This song literally makes me cry it's about two lovers who can't forget each other for like ever and even if the world was ending they won't forget.
