Keith Urban: Days Go By Meaning
Song Released: 2004
Days Go By Lyrics
Oh and a yeah...
I'm changing lanes and talkin' on the phone
Drivin' way too fast.
And the interstate's jammed with gunners like me
Afraid of comin' in last.
But somewhere in the race we run,
We're coming...
-
This song is simple. Mr. Urban is talking about how time flies. Sort of like Kenney Chesney's Don't Blink. One minute your young and the next your old. In the song Mr. Urban mentions "I can feel 'em flyin' like a hand out the window in the wind, as the cars go by....." which means that just like cars zip past your window in the car, days zip past you.
