Lamb of God: Terminally Unique Meaning
Terminally Unique Lyrics
Cognitive dissonance
Wallow in sardonic fear while your will breaks like glass
Throw on the blinders, ignore the signs
Sink ever deeper, swallow the lie.
How far did you think that you could run?
You...

For me this song is about my drug addiction.
-
See, I have a condition, which has me in a walker, not able to walk at all without it, since birth. I use to sing this song to myself in pity, especially the "Sing the old same song, predictable and somnambulant. Suffering from terminal uniqueness" part and on. But now, it's a letter written to myself to remind me how I felt and how I can either let that kill me inside, or pick myself up from all that pain and live my life. Adapt. That's my interpretation of this song. It has a lot of meaning for me.

I feel I did not fully explain my interpretation, what I mean is I believe this song is about living your life in self-sorrow, ignorance, depression, fear, seclusion & bad decisions, or lack of decision, in any form, regret, & that you can always try & turn your life around, that you should or your life will pass you by, that is my opinion, if anyone thinks or knows I'm wrong, I'd be relieved to hear it & the actual meaning. PS. keep Randall, Lamb of god, the deceased & his family in your thoughts.
-
I am rather convinced this song is about people like me, who live there life the way I do, there are specific lines that are coincidental to my lifestyle, some words I don't know the definition & I apologise for my ignorance, but I'm weak willed, live in ignorance, I am quite the fuck up, my life is indeed passing me by & I pretend not to notice or care, & I am am becoming more & more reclusive. This is filled with self sorrow & misery but I only share it with you so openly (not something i normally do) to show you why I believe this is the meaning, & because if theres anyone who feels the same way, I highly recommend you love this song & do not let your life pass by, if you are terminally unique, do awaken.
