The Faded Line Lyrics

Witness shame's parade, the pain of blame repaid
It's fucking hopeless
Accusations and denial.
Hopeless... demon of another day
Colorless... stoned, solid grey
Emptiness... of promises I made
So faithless... the tenants long betrayed.
Walk...

The song can be a statement in one’s personal beliefs and how society, politics, and culture has gone into a 180 degree change. What was held in respect and highest respect is now discarded and viewed as useless and old fashioned.

The Faded Line refers to the difficulty (or hopelessness) of holding faith in a modern world.

    "Hopeless... demon of another day
    Colorless... Stoned, solid grey
    Emptiness... of promises I made
So faithless... The tenants long betrayed.
Walk the faded line, cursed crawl of time"

This refers to the ancient nature of modern Christianity, how everything is so old and irrelevant in comparison to today's world. Possibly the song may be touching on the struggle of religion to keep control over society when everything seems so obscure.
