A giraffe was born into a cage that became too small As she grew
She bowed her head but could not reach the leaves from the tree outside the cage.
life depended on what fell to the ground, if it ate it grew taller if it didn't she would die .
Her knees were raw as it she had to accomadate her long neck and bow so low.As
she grew she could not move or get up .
Her chest was becoming squashed and she fought to breath.
Her eye rubbed against the wire of the cage as she blinked .
She knew no life free from pain and with each day her space became smaller.
She did not understand her capture until she was released .
She did not know life
as the beautiful graceful animal she was destined to be.
Life outside the wire.
Rescue came .
