Probably Wouldn't Be This Way Lyrics
Everybody says he's crazy; I'll have to see
I finally moved to Jackson when the summer came
I won't have to pay that boy to rake my leaves
I'm probably going on and on
It seems I'm doing...
-
This song is about a woman who has lost her husband and having to go on without him. Even the simple things become difficult -- mowing the lawn, raking leaves, etc. She wishes that she could just die with him, but she didn't and has to go on....
People are trying to "help" by fixing her up on dates....
I know -- I've lived this song.
