Leona Lewis: Bleeding Love Meaning
Song Released: 2007
Bleeding Love Lyrics
I didn't need the pain
Once or twice was enough
And it was all in vain
Time starts to pass
Before you know it you're frozen
Ooooh...
But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melted...

#1 top rated interpretation:A woman whose been hurt in past relationships. She closed herself off to others. She ends up falling in love with someone she thinks is perfect. Everyone around telling her no she'll get hurt again. She doesn't care what they say she loves him so much.

#2 top rated interpretation:To me this is about a young woman who has been abused by her lover, and she still chooses to stay even though she has friends and loved ones who tell her to step away from him.

3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:I think this is about an abusive relationship. It describes my relationship with my husband really. He always hits me and emotionally hurts me yet I still stay because he wasn't like this before we got back together.

This song, if just reading the words, and not watching the video about a male/female relationship gone wrong, can be interrupted in many ways. To me it's about a mother who remembers the first time she saw her child(ren) when born and bleeding giving birth, (feeling a love so strong and holding something beautiful, no doubt.) but now the family is dysfunctional and the children now never speak or see that mother. Everyone else thinks she is crazy for still trying to be in a relationship with them, but she keeps wanting their love in return regardless of the hurt they cause her. Though she tries to stop the pain (give up/close that bleeding vein/stop her love for them) she remembers all the love she's shown them from birth to adulthood, and can't stop her bleeding love for them.

tw: self harm
I know this isnt the meaning of the somg but when i hear it i think about someone who was hurt and as a way to cope they hurt themself, hint at bleeding, and they have so much love but keep getting hurt and they just keep needing to cope. -
The way I interpret this song is a woman who has been hurt before in past relationships, and has just been hurt in general. She finally finds someone who is great and loves her for her but the voices in her head keeps telling her to run away out of fear of being hurt and vulnerable again but she stays and fights because underneath all of the fear and doubts she loves him and her love for him is worth fighting for.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

according to my friend, she says it’s about an abortion, because when you abort you bleed, and maybe for her was a lost because she loved her baby and the umbilical cord it’s the vein that’s cured out from her... so yep, let me know what you think, it’s just a thought.

Having a period according to google

I think that the song wrote the lyric and we happened to the writers and me and Ben wrote it first, then me and Nicole wrote it at the studio and make it into the label and Nathan wrote couple strings from our high school band then we can sing at the church and we can write about anything you want to write about. It’s creatively fun and also we had a great members of the billboard music awards and announced the award and we’ve done enough for me and Ben but me and him are doing music at my church playing music each other night and we stayed up and write about ourselves and be who you are, and me and Ben wanted to write it in the church after track and school.
-
I think to the song is to be the ballad to write about breakup and loving other person to fall in love with you but when I wrote this song to one republic Ryan Tedder, but I produced it with Nathan and Paul Worley, they are at Nashville I’m a huge fan of their music they have Taylor Swift, lady antebellum. They write it with me it’s so nice to have people out their problems. But we’re never giving up but me and Ben are doing music project for our church. Then we can have the piano and microphones on the stand. Then we have a original band then me and Ben and my church friends are doing drums and guitars. It’s very cool.

I would record the song during my schedule and so joe and nick are writing it for me and to have that important lesson to be relationship with a partner. To be in relationship with god we shared our love and sharing stories about people being together.
-
I think this song is to have the moment of life to between those days, but it’s time to moved on into those steps, but it’s very great. I’ve been writing songs with Jonas brothers, because they’re really good at songwriting. And we also had some fun to make everything on the album together, stay in hotels, and recording songs, hanging out.
-
I think the song is to be in love for someone because they’re in a badly relationships with other people, but I don’t have bad relationship with William! I’m happy now, but I’m dating someone who loves me, very much at church. His name is Tyler. He’s such a great friend of mine, he’s dating me. He such a great awesome friend.

Although it probably isn’t what she intended it to mean, to me the song is about someone who is in a relationship that is discouraged by her family/society. She says that no matter how much hurt she has to go through to be with them, she has fallen in love, and nothing will stand in the way.
-
I think this song is probably about being in love. But I almost have a boyfriend but I’m younger to get a boyfriend! But I’m having best time with my mother, and my brother, she’s incredibly beautiful, and absolutely stunning!

No matter what's going on.....
She just keep loving him -
I think when they both comes close to each other that feeling is like a heaven for them so, there fore she expressed her own feelings through these bleeding and her uncountable love........
