   I always thought the song was about being brave enough to love someone and take that chance. In the video to me I thought I saw her miss a chance with the love of her life by choosing to be afraid and put a wall up instead of being brave enough to love and open up the possibility for heartbreak. In the end she doesn’t realize that because she didn’t take the chance, the love meant for her ended up with someone else and she’s none the wiser. She doesn’t even realize what she missed out on. It’s saying basically will love hurt you? Maybe, but maybe that’s your soulmate, gotta be in the game to win it.

   LEONA falls in love and the guy looks like his in love with her but then we realise that he ends up with the other girl, thats life somethings we can try hold on to something thats just passing by, but we have to accept it and be happy even if it means being a bridesmaid for your lover who weds your frienemy

   It is about doing whatever makes you happy even if it may hurt you in the future. "So what if it hurts me, so what if I break down..". Also it's about not sticking to the 'safe' way of life, as that way you miss out on many great things. The lyrics say "I can't stand by the side, and watch this life pass me by".
   
   In the video to this song Leona falls in love with a guy who is in love with someone else, but she continues to be close to him even though she knows that she will end up getting hurt.
