    this song represent his love for his aunt. she had committed suicide and him and his momma were struggling to keep it together. he wants to know if there is anything he can do to make her heart beat better. lewis capaldi has true dedication to his music, he deserves the world.

    I'm pretty sure it's about his aunt who committed suicide and he wishes he could have helped her. The signs were all there he just didn't see them. Make sure you look for the signs because if you look, you will see. Just like how my friends looked and they saw me.
