Lil Wayne: Mirror Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Mirror Lyrics
With everything happening today..
You don't know whether your coming or going but..
You think that your on your way
Life lined up on the mirror don't blow it..
Look at me when I'm talking to you..
You...

K this is not about Satan. I back up the point made by anonymous that says it's actually about God. He makes many metaphors about his dark place and is now changing himself. He is in fact starting with dark evil imagery. And slowly those images transition out of the video. The reference to 'we' is him and his reflection, nor Satan or the illuminati. This is an inspirational song and if it was about something darker he wouldn't choose Bruno mars or reference bp who called him out on not working with mars in the past. On a side note, before you give an opinion please be educated enough to be able to spell

What's this shit about him talking to God. This song is definitely about Illuminati. These people keep playing with your fickle minds. God save this world amen

It is a song about a man who is afraid to face himself compare "looking good in broken mirrors" and "smoke in mirrors" the image of himself is blurred because he does not want to face himself...
... he is escaping into a distorted image of himself to escape the responsibility of fulfilling a specific life purpose "life lined up on a mirror do not blow it up",...
...he knows who he really is in the images of love in disguise and pain in the pride, but he is afraid to maybe look at the more positive or stronger aspects of his personality...
...And he knows that in order to accomplish this specific life purpose that was lined up by destiny he has to face himself to pull himself through to make it...
...The irony however lies in the fact that he says he was always there for himself when he was alone and no one was around, but it seems that he does not really want to be here for himself to draw on his inner strength resource to pull himself up and through, like he is surrendering to being weak and only having this distorted image of himself being a good for nothing human being...
There is however a positive image in the "you told me they would understand" as if he had faith in humanity, that they would love him, maybe somewhere deep he still has a passion for humanity to help them in some way in spite of him being down in the dumps at the moment...
...Maybe what he really needs to understand is that in spite of all the pain and struggles humanity put him through that it was just all a test, to see if he would still care in spite of all their flaws by recognizing his own flaws in them who disappointed him, for if he would hate them he would hate himself, but if he could still make a difference and believed he could he would love himself enough to love them.
It could be about finding perfection and some measure of peace in imperfections...if he is willing to accept the imperfections of those he has turned his back upon as that of himself, maybe he could stop being so hard on himself and others, and go into life a bit more light hearted, to go and shine like he was meant to do all along! -
This song is about how lil wayne is lonely and misunderstood and struggled through his life.even the tattoos he has say that and no from a previouse interpretation lil Wayne is not satanist he has tattoos of god and crusifixes and is a Christian.and he also has a tattoo on his face saying misunderstood.

D sonq is al abt illuminati, he is only afraid dt Mj is beinq killed by d illuminati,so he nw says 'u told me dt d can understand d man i am.. Dts al. Dnt b carried away by d beats
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
i think he is trying to show that fame can bring fake friends who only want your money and cant be trusted so the only person wayne trusts is in the Mirror
-
its about Eminem, Duhhhhh!! close-minded fuks... !

This song isnt about drugs or worshipping the devil (why would he show his "fear god" tattoo on his eye lids and the "god" eye lid later in the video or cross himself if he didnt love god)and it is mostly about how no one else can understand his feelings and emotions. it is also about how he knows he needs to change himself for the better. for example, when he says he looks just like his dad (who left his family when he was two) and when he makes the Micheal Jackson man in the mirror, which is a song about changing yourself, reference "im startin with the man in the / mirror...." "MJ taught me that"

This song is about a man that is struggling with fame getting to his head, because he knows he has many fans, but he doesn't know if they are true fans. Fame and money will attract fake friends and gold digging women. Maybe this song is also about Tyler The Creator dissing Bruno Mars. They are talking about not being listened to, and how society doesn't know that celebs have feelings too. Last, but not least, the mirror on the the wall, you've been my only friend, he is talking about how he only knows himself, and he's the only person he can trust. I know this because in an article, Bruno Mars said that fame can get a little lonely. There's so much more I can say about this song, but I just don't have any real words to describe it!

the white paint shows peace. illuminatis are neva to thrw their bandanas bt he dd.
hz dne..nd im proud of the decision he took. -
I personally believe that lil wayne is tryna make a change for the better. When I think of the blood I think of the blood of christ that protects us. He knows he has sin. He's battling with his inner demons and has come to realize that in order to make a change for the better he needs to examine himself and make a change.

qoui qu'on dise, ce sont n'est pa clair, il parle surment d'un rapport entre le monde reel et celui deriere le miroir...!!!!

i think,Lil-Wayne wants to open our eyes.yes, the bad exists in people, but the choice is our,we can change
-
I think everyone has looked in the mirror & asked questions about themselves.Sounds like all the struggles hes faced in life be it drugs, women, money anything really he can only count on himself who understands.Exactly what this forum is about & everyone commenting on what you think it means, all the stories why li wayne is singing about that no one understands & he has to talk to himself to understand why.I think good on him for doing it.Imagine if everything you did was scrutinised, who would you turn to ?. The price for fame hey.....
