   ~~The writer of the song has been far from his loved ones, being on the road, and is feeling quite homesick, but can't do anything about it since he's on tour and cannot go back to the ones he loved, so as the chorus goes, he keeps his emotion (angst, hate, regret) locked up inside.

   ~~As a result of the writers internalization of his feelings, he has a lot of anger (with himself, with the situation..etc)

   ~~Once the writer reached fame and fortune, acquaintances came out of the woodworks to feed off his money (kind of like when someone wins the Power-ball). As a result, the writer lashes out at the fair-weather friends or distant family, saying that "It's too late to love me now" since when he was a nobody, the people didn't care or want to get to know him.

   ~~The writer is torn between having to break ties with people he once cared about (e.g: his mother, father, girlfriend, best friend) and has come to the realization that the only way to "find peace" and end his anger and regret is to dissociate with the people who are only seeking monetary gratification from him and not genuine friendship/love. (In addition, the phrase "Break" "Me" "Too" is used after each phrase and may suggest that breaking the ties hurts him emotionally as well.

   Ignoring and drinking musical gas fueled euphoria
   The sound pounds to make the dead flush
   To have you a head rush with red thoughts and said stuff

   ~~The writer explains what his career has been like after cutting ties with his fair-weather friends.
   
   As a way to cope with the loneliness of being a star, he has concentrated hard on writing songs.
   
   The phrase, "Keep my distance, and fear resistance, hurt by persistence" implies that some of the people he ousted himself from are being relentless in their pursuit of monetary gains (maybe by using the past and lies as a way to work their angle and thus making the writer regret his decision of ousting them in the first place and places doubt that he can further succeed in the music business).
   
   In the end, the writer hopes that people will enjoy the song and that it will inspire the same emotions that he experienced making the song itself.

   means you're heart was just broken
   and you don't what to do now.
   Left all alone/far from my home.
   means you feel like nobody loves you.
   Its too late too love me now.
   Means that the girl/guy wants you back
   but you won't take them back.
