   I interpret the requiem as a song about nuclear war, the citezens are seeing or hearing on their devices that nuclear warheads have been launched and are coming. The singer is begging for forgiveness because she knows she will die. The radiance is an aftermath, most people are dead and the song is kind of a last breath for humanity.

   i believe this song is linkin park asking for salvation to god.
   they know they will burn for a thousand suns.
   If you look at revelation 20, you will know that satan will burn for a thousand suns (years) in hell, and will take his people with him.
   This isn't a game anymore, and you need to understand clearly that unless you ask for forgiveness for your sins you will never enter in god's kingdom.
   Pray for linkin park.
   May god have mercy for theyr souls (everyone)

   It's basically about the part of the song "the catalyst" where it repeats the part "god save us, everyone

   The Requiem and The Radiance are discussing the Pandora's box that mankind opened with the creation of the nuclear bomb. Nuclear fusion generates heat as hot as the surface of the sun, there are thousands of nuclear warheads on the planet that have the potential to wipe out all life on earth. The radiance is a recording of Robert Oppenheimer(The Father of the nuclear bomb) discussing the mood after the first nuclear bomb was detonated
