Lupe Fiasco: Words I Never Said Meaning
Words I Never Said Lyrics
with words that I should have said
As I drown in my regrets
I can't take back the words I never said
I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit
Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your...

#1 top rated interpretation:"I guess that all the violence is worse than all the silence"- Lupe's talking about how there is so much shit going on in the world, and no-one has the guts to say anything or stand up to anyone.
"I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit"- People just need a reason to fight.
"Israel don't take my side cos look how far you've pushed em"- He's saying how the war with America and Islam and Iraq and all has gotten so out of hand that Israel wouldn't take his side
"9/11 building 7, did they really pull it?"- Referring to the conspiracy theories of the 9/11 attacks that it was a controlled demolition.
"If you turn on TV, all you see's a bunch of "what the fucks" Dude is dating so and so, blabbering 'bout such and such. And that ain't Jersey Shore, homey, that's the news, and these the same people supposedly telling us the truth"- News reporters spend half their time reporting things that actually matter and half of it is just gossip. Which is why he refers to Jersey Shore, saying its not Jersey Shore we're watching, it's the news, so report something worth-while, the truth.
"Limbaugh was a racist, Glen Beck is a racist, Ghaza strip
was gettin bombed but Obama didn't say shit "- Limbaugh and Glen Beck are radio hosts, and are plain and simple, fucking racist.
" Ghaza strip was gettin bombed but Obama didn't say shit"- The government hides a lot of truth for their own benefit and to save their own asses, which is why he also says he won't vote for anyone.
and theres plenty more meanings where that came from lol -

#2 top rated interpretation:This song is all about what's wrong in this world and how everybody is blaming everyone on their own problems.
-
THis goes way more complex . but its simple good and evil . ( think about it ) listen and realize history ....
-
I think this song talks about how everyone never has the guts to stand up to the challenge to never speak up about what is really happening to the world to never really care about what is happening as long as it aint happening to them about how much people really care for the human race about how mans natural fear makes him a coward about how we will fight a war just to be fighting one this is what i belive this song means
-
A man that is not afraid to speak the truth.
-
It means there's so much shit going on with this horrible government & everyone's to scared to say something about or do something against it. I couldn't agree more with this song. Fuck the government.
-
This song is about all the things that are wrong in the world with a political view. Lupe thinks that Obama is the biggest terrorist in the world. all the thing Lupe thinks he has done to us. the music vid shows this best. the people in the vid are all wearing masks to filter air because of all these attacks. in the vid there is supposed to be the dust of war and terrorists attacks. that is why the are wearing the masks in case ur wondering
-
Lupe is talkin about everything from Obama to us kids in the ghetto just tryin to get by (me). I think this song speak to me alot and so do a lot of other songs that he makes. And he sed on a interview that he was in the middle of his timeline. Hopefully the end ain't no albulm that he wrote two songs and the music co. Wrote ten. Love Always Shines Everytime Remember to Smile!! I try to smile
-
We need to look back towards these lyrics because they actually mean something. "just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets" means that our country needs to fight so we can stop ourselves from actually figuring out what is wrong with war. And if you look at the music video you see that everyone is wearing masks which keep them from speaking up. That's why Lupe doesn't wear one.
-
we all know whats going on with the government trying to cover up all the 911 conspiracies. we live in a crooked government. no body has the courage to say something about whats going on. THE TRUTH!
-
This is amazing. The lyrics are unbelievably honest. He is putting something with content out in a society obsessed with the superficial. Brilliant.
-
We all know what the hell is going on but scared to talk because the consequences are unknown.
-
I think the actor that never will be a factor is the jewish savior. Israel does not want to start any more wars and i don't think Islam does either. Who ever this actor is he is a major factor. Hopefully this actor has chose a different path and would like help people. Just my thoughts.
-
He is exposing the goverment and secretly talking about a secret society called the illiminati he means that everything is so fake all the goverment want is money.
Schools aint nothing but a bunch of bullshit
war aint nothing but an excuse for more power and the illuminati alone is soo bad go on google for your self so much info bout the illuminati nothing imma say right yet -
Its about all the conspiracies and cover ups and how people know what's going on and aren't acting on it and how they don't say anything about it.
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Lupe talks about how guilty we are for knowing what's going on and bot acting up on it.that the "blind eyed devil" that goes on on without anything to stop it.lupe just gets harder and harder.he makes such logical points and is an icon.
