Girl In A Country Song Lyrics
Well I wish I had some shoes on my two bare feet
And it's gettin' kinda cold in these painted on cut off jeans
I hate the way this bikini top chafes
Do I...

this song is funny. Love these girls. Another of of theirs i like is "Shut Up And Fish". quite frankly i prefer their sassy songs. Over their love songs. i just don't like mushy love songs.

I would sing this song to my friend Ryan, but when the songwriters wrote it I’ve been listening to it everyday. But when I started this project with Jonas brothers, I really have this type of stuff to collect some records and also I’ve been to the record studio before Kevin took me to the studio and he started some couple chords for me.

You know I feel their pain as a man. Having to go out there wearing tight jeans. With junk stuffed down my pants because all the other artist do it like Luke Bryan and Dirks Bentley and etc. All the drunk women hollering grabbing my Butt. It can wear a person down. I have a soul and feelings and a heart too. Yet nobody cares. I’m just an object. But it’s part of the business. Man this job sucks. I wish I thought about writing a song like this first.

It’s a song about women that are blessed with looks and and an awesome platform(record contract) they could use to be uplifting and encouraging to women over 300 pounds that would love to hear they are beautiful by anyone. But instead they use that platform to bitch about how men won’t kiss their ass for their brains.
Because they have big egos that nobody can satisfy even if they did. And in reality they probably do. Hey a lot of men are dogs Ok I get it I feel ya. Now back to Conway twitty Brad paisley and the real stuff. bump this mess. -
The message in this song aligns itself nicely with the recent news events surrounding the Women's March that swept the globe. What started as a small protest rally in Washington quickly turned into women and men worldwide showing their support for women’s rights. Though country music may not be for everyone, this song’s message is universal; that women should not be objectified, and deserve more respect than is currently given. Maddie and Tae are empowered young women who demand to be called more than “"pretty little thing", "honey" or "baby"” (Marlow, Dye. 2014). This song sends the message that what boys like to see isn’t always what girls want to wear, and it shouldn’t be the standard in other songs and media. They reflect on how the objectification of women is actually getting worse than it once was when “We used to get a little respect/Now we're lucky if we even get...” (Marlow, Dye. 2014).

It is about how the girl in a country song's image is all like cut off jeans and barefoot and with a bikini top and they are saying how the don't like the way they are judged.
