All About That Bass Lyrics

Because you know
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass
bout that bass

Yeah it's pretty clear, I...

I think Meghan is just saying everyone is perfect, you dont need to worry or anything, just ignore it. Society shouldn't judge people by the way they look.

I had a friend back in HS who was scared she would never have a boyfriend because she thought she was too fat. She was normal sized. I remember telling her, "You know, people fatter than you have sex too." Lots of heavier girls and women just stay away from guys because they assume no one will ever like them. In every movie when I was a kid, the chubby girl was the sad or funny side kick to the skinny girl who got the boy. It was presented like the natural order. Good for Meghan Trainor for shaking things up. And for keeping her clothes on in the video.

I think song says you dont have to be skinny to be liked. One of my best friends is heavier and I bet people find it weird that I hang out with her. But she is so nice and that is all that matters. No matter who you are your perfect. Perfect from the bottom to the top. ;) Also you can get someone to love you even if your heavier. So do not worry, you are loved! Remember all you need is a good personality :D

I want to write this song to all my girls and I wrote with josh and Carlos he’s such amazing guy and he knows my parents and so I knew him in theater and capernaum that’s why I met him but we had a meeting at the theater but they have a piano and Joshua played the piano singing this song and it sounded like a ballad and also it had strings and violins it sounds amazing but me and Ej are doing this project at Utah at their school productions and so miss Jenn wanted me to be in the show and be a piano girl.

She is trying to say "No ones perfect so you be you, and don't let anyone bring you down. Your amazing in your own unique way." So you hold your ground be who you want to be.

I think the song is trying to give a positive message to overweight girls, by saying it's okay to be bigger because guys want a bigger butt. I do not like the way she talks bad about skinny girls.

Bass is to the thick volume of the body as treble is to thin volume of the body...

I think Meghan Trainor is trying to tell girls all around the world that they are perfect just the way they are. I struggle with being over weight as well. But, I remember that I am perfect just the way I am, and that I don't need a guy to tell me I'm hot or not. To all the girls out there, your perfect just the way you are.

I think about this way:You're definitely allowed to have an opinion about what body type you like, but don't bully anyone about it,or tell them they have to be what you like.I don't think being too under/overweight is healthy, and if it's unhealthy they need to get help. All in all, just focus on personality and whether you like them for who they are. Also, don't make assumptions. Some 'Fat' (I don't like that term) people may be on a diet, and trying to lose weight, and the same for skinny people trying to gain weight.

She is just saying that everyone is perfect no matter their size. In the song she states the fact that photo shop is wrong and disrespectful. I very much agree with all of her statements. Especilly the one about photo shop. She is a VERY bright person and all of her statements are very true.

It means don't just judge someone based on their size (weight) And if you think you're fat, you shouldn't want to be a "silicone Barbie Doll", because the truth is, boys like a little more booty.

I hear people like criticizing her saying stick figure silicone barbie doll and saying she is criticizing skinny people but no she's saying I'm not going to be super skinny and perfect like a barbie doll I'll be a little chubby and she says she is joking when she calls them skinny bitches don't hate she was trying to send a good message

I understand she is trying to say that it's ok to be slightly larger then average but does she really need to diss skinny people in order to do that? I have been to hell and back because of being DAMB skinny and to all of those people saying 'yeah but all of social media tells you your beautiful anyway' please just let me tell you. No. Just no. It is just as bad to be under weight then over weight. They can cause just as many problems both physically and mentally as each other. Yes over weight people get bullied all the time and think they will never have a boyfriend or anything but so do skinny people! And to hear Megan, one of my top role models (not because anything to do with size or weight) say that not only are skinny people b!tches, silicon Barbie dolls (wtf does that even mean??) and boys will never be interested in them because they only like either average or overweight people, which we already here on a day to day bases either being bullied or just in general. Is very upsetting, especially as she was the person I looked up to and wanted to look and be like when I was older, and I have no idea what gives her the right to diss skinny people like that because it's not like she's fat anyway, she is actually very beautiful. Basically I'm trying to say, the knife cuts both ways, it's just as bad for skinny people as fat people.

And if you get offended by me referring to under/over weight people as fat or skinny I am truly sorry, you are beautiful ( or handsom if you're a guy) just the way you are and who cares what anyone else says! Be happy with yourself, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!
