The view the song takes is one of a woman in a relationship with a lying, cheating man. She tells him that she's "got friends in this town", all who have witnessed him cheating on her, yet he denies it. After slamming him she says at the end of the vocal, "here's a bombshell (a surprise) just for you, turns out I've been lyin to", indicating he wasn't the only one who had been unfaithful and that she had found another man.
