    Hey guys.

It's the first person who commented here, I dont know why but I check this site to see if others comment on it sometimes.

I will go by "Anonymous" for now. First off, I agree with Confidential. Stop fighting. You two barely know each other, and there is always an extra opinion involved, but you don't need to be a douche.

I am younger than probably all of you and I know that.

I know I am younger than the 17 year old, but I dont know about python. But you all need to chill.

Now, I just wanted to say that because there isn't a point of fighting online with people you don't know.

    Sincerely,
    Anonymous. :)

Miranda Lambert admitted to ABC Radio her divorce from Blake Shelton inspired her to re-examine the classic Wizard of Oz character. "Everyone knows what the Tin Man represents: cold and empty and loneliness and heartless," she said. "And it just opened my eyes to it even more going through pain myself, you know, sort of an epiphany."- songfacts
Please guys, for python and the 17 year old kid.. Enough of fighting. People come here to know the interpretation of the song.
Hey 17 year old kid, enjoy being a teenager and mature more. You'll still find the right girl at the right time. Peace guys!

I love Miranda Lambert songs. They are great, in the country genre, and this really means something to me. Honestly, when I first heard the song, I cried.

    Hey there, Mr. Tin Man
You don't know how lucky you are
You shouldn't spend your whole life wishin'
For something bound to fall apart
    Every time you're feeling empty
    Better thank your lucky stars
If you ever felt one breaking
    You'd never want a heart

In these lyrics, she's talking to someone (The Tin Man) who hasn't been in a relationship before, or someone who cannot love, about how having a heart and "feeling someone breaking" is and how it hurts.

    Hey there, Mr. Tin Man
You don't know how lucky you are
I've been on the road that you're on
It didn't get me very far
    You ain't missing nothing
'Cause love is so damn hard
    Take it from me, darling
    You don't want a heart

Then she's telling the person that she's been on that road, where she hasn't been in love before but wants to, and that when she got in love, it's hard.she then says "You don't want a heart" (she's clearly talking about a past relationship.. *cough* Blake Shelton!)

    Hey there, Mr. Tin Man
I'm glad we talked this out
You can take mine if you want it
    It's in pieces now
By the way there, Mr. Tin Man
If you don't mind the scars
    You give me your armor
And you can have my heart

This is the sad part where she says that she could give them her heart, even though its in pieces, meaning that hearts break (...duh) and explains if they don't mind getting hurt or they're heart breaking, they can have her heart.
In conclusion, the song talks about a person who wants to love, but she's telling them why they shouldn't want to.
