Motionless in White: Sinematic Meaning
Sinematic Lyrics
The wall that I have built to keep you out is starting to rust
Because everything around me just reminds me of us.
I am an addict for dramatic, black hair and pale skin.
Yet I'm still collecting bones, but that's why
Closets...

This song is telling the story about a deep relationship and somewhat happened to break it.
Maybe he was petraid, the relationship break he was on tour or something else.
No matter what it was this song describes the situation and I can totally understand this.
We all know the feeling of petraid, be alone or sadness and that's why this song hitting very hard. -
I feel that this some is about a break up that heavily affected the artist/singer in a way her loves and wants her more than he ever did before. He never realised how much he needed her even if they still have sex. "but i will always let you in" suggests to me that Chris will always give it another shot in a way her will do anything for the girl because he clearly wants her.
When he mentions "you were supposed to save me from myself" shows he was a threat or danger to himself maybe from a past with drugs/alcohol abuse, suicide or possibly self harm which would mean he needs and wants help and maybe this girl gave him a huge comfort and reassurance.
Therefore I believe this song is about something back that the singer once had to make himself sane and in control. -
A substance/drug that was once exciting and gave the mind meaning. Now ruining one's life yet the addiction is still real and impossible to leave.
-
I got the vibe of either a break up or a death of someone close.
-
This is my opinion of what the song means. That he hasn't felt any thing for years now there fore turning him cold and sad and he has sex to feel something, because we all know it's best to feel something than nothing at all even if it's meaningless sex.
-
Obviously about an old girlfriend he had. They lost all the emotional attraction but still fuck because why not.
-
Depends on how you look at it but I was told by someone in the band that most of the lyrics and tracks on infamous are about a break up an bad relationship hint in this track the lyrics you said you would never hurt me.
