Mudvayne: Everything and Nothing Meaning
Everything and Nothing Lyrics
Steal acceptance lend denial,
Telling me that my life is free and boundless,
Then I'm forced to stay between the lines,
They construct death to demolish life,
Plant the seeds to harvest loss,
Found empty truth is full...

I think the song is about politics and how it's up to us to change them. We want to change, but have no idea what to do different. All in all, it's up to the people to change, but there isn't much any one person can do. "I am everything, I am nothing"
-
everything and nothing is about the duality in life, and the idea that everything is nothing in a bigger scope, and nothing is everything in an inner conscious sort of way.
*these guys are much more genius than whats given at face value* -
This song is about the issue of abortion in society. What is being said, is that it is a futile argument. The true thing that must be evaluated is if the life in question will be brought into a world of love, or a world of neglect. If they will be brought into a world of neglect, then they are everything physically, but nothing emotionally. If a child won't be loved, they should be spared the pain of living that life.
