Mudvayne - Nothing To Gein Meaning

Nothing To Gein Lyrics
With my love,
That's all she's ever needed, from me
It's my time, to mother,
One of my own in my life,
I am so alone, left with no one
In my life, I'm so alone
Life...

I agree, and it also tells about him dressing in another woman's skin and masquerading as his mother "mutilate and sew my new clothes for masquerading, aprons of flesh, corpse scalped hair with skin upon my face," and "dance and masturbate to night light by myself" refers to a time when Augusta Gein (Ed's mother) caught him playing with himself and called it 'the curse of man,' which could also be connected to the "sickness" they so often refer to.
"Nail shut the doors to the shrine" refers to his mother's room; after she died, he nailed the door shut to preserve her memory, as he deified her.
I got this all from a book I read called Deviant, it's all about the whole Ed Gein story. It's a pretty interesting book, if you're into serial killers and how they fit into rock songs (haha).

This song is simply about the life of Ed Gein (serial Killer, Wisconsin, Mid 50's) and about how his mother sheltered him from everything in life, she was basically his god.
