Another masterpiece in painting a great song that came out in the 70's in the triple decade album of neil young in the sorrows of sadness the assasinations of john kennedy, his brother bobby and martin luther king brought upon our country that felt like a dream that takes us back in time in the feeling to assimilate with our american brown skin creek indian brothers of broken treaties of promises while they lived on their settlement called ''broken arrow'', got this name 'cause they broke branches of trees to make their arrows instead of cutting them down. eventually theywere forced to move west on ''the trail of tears'' that became a vision of them all in one in the river crossings as sacrificial lamb[s] waveing in peace with a broken arrow. then neil cycles the song back in the present to assimilate the time of the draft of our young men after them being 18yrs on the american dream who were sent to march to war as soldiers, sacrificing their lives fighting in the war with the vision of many of them dieing in crossing the river, waveing for help to the brothers who got on the otherside.

As the sound of the mary go round that goes back further in time of sorrows the war brought back in the phrase ''he hung up his eye lids and ran down the hall, his mother told him a trip was a fall, and don't mention babies at all''. then neil goes further to assimilate the past to our present sorrows through the trip of the funeral[s] of our fallen heroes as a wedding parade in the vision of the time that took place in the river where the baptisim of ''jesus christ'' as a lamb of god who was eventually carried by his cross through the streets to be sacrificed to death for our sins, so that we may have life in our god given freedom to believe that they are united. then the present time again comes round into the vision of the past in the words, did you see them, did you see them?, did you see them in the river?, they were there to wave to you.
