Neon Hitch: Pink Field Meaning
Pink Field Lyrics
pull the car over I said lets break in
i never found religion, but was born with freedom
that's the one thing I pray will not be taken
kick my shoes off and I will run away
will run away,...

It think it means how Neon feels as if she needs an escape from the world. She constantly refers to running away. She also mentions if the 'shiny things' go deeper she'll be seeing Amy (Ay Winehouse) sooner than planned. Neon talks about escaping so she most likely means escaping herself, others, everything, or the world in general.

I feel as though this song represents her ongoing battle with heroin. Pink fields, "pink poppy fields", "feelin so good", she runs away. She also sings, that she tries to kill the pain, and in reference to her late friend Amy Winehouse, sings "shiny things go deeper" (needles), "If I go much further", she states she would be with Amy.
