If Everyone Cared Lyrics
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you'd be mine
But here we are, we're here tonight
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
Singing Amen, I, I'm alive
[Chorus:]
If everyone cared and...

#1 top rated interpretation:"If everyone cared" by nickelback paints a picture of peace and serenity. Life is short, and people worry so much about themselves because of greed, jealousy, selfishness and lack of empathy.
People are dying because nobody would help them, If we lived in a world where people would put others needs before their own, "then we'd see the day when nobody died"
This Song is outstandingly wonderful! Chad Kroeger has a intellegent mind, He talks about what the world would be like "if everyone cared" and nobody fought, or if everyone donated stuff to the homeless and the sicklings.
i've seen a young man on the streets.. homeless and dying. he inspired me. i got him up and put him right back on his feet. i gave him some food and a place to stay until he got a job. now today he works at the MTS centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. if everyone cared enough to do this atleast once or twice every year.. we wouldnt see homeless people out on the streets, dying. we'd see good people with jobs and homes, with food in their bellies. if everyone were to be like this, "then we'd see the day when nobody died".
if you see a homeless person out on the streets, be a good citizen and ATLEAST give him a couple dollars, to buy some food..
Chad Kroeger is Spontainuously Fantastic!
STOP THE VIOLENCE, HUNGER AND RACISM!!!

#2 top rated interpretation:I think this song doesn't really talk about one specific incident, but in general how our society today is so cruel and uncaring, and the song talks about how if everyone cared our world would be a better place. I used to have a friend who I always think of when I hear this song. It makes me really sad. It was her favorite song, too. She always believed in trying to help the world and stand up for what's right. Last year she died. It was so sad. She was the best friend I've ever had. And she was the best person I've ever known. I think she might of been an angel. I'm just so happy to of met her.

#3 top rated interpretation:This song is about how if everyone in the world stopped fighting and just loved things would be fine.
-
this is a good song but also sad too. but it makes people feel like they are in the army or coming back from the army.
-
The lyrics make no sense, like how would people caring and people not crying stop people from dying? it would'nt you guys, come on.
-
Whenever I hear this song it makes me think of grandfather who was in the military and he died when I was 8 years old.

Well, I do know if the writer follows Kabbalah, but in one of the books I read, Nano, there is a discussion of the ability to prevent death. That is achieved by sharing the light, and removing the ego. The verse of everyone sharing and swallowing their pride, speaks to that. Of course, it goes on to say, that if we did this then we'd see the day when no one died.
-
im sorry if this is not 100% accurate about the person. However, I DID read that this song was in memory of either a record producer...or someone associated with the Nickelback crew...well...whoever it was...he got shot, and died :(. This song is dedicated to him (as you will find inside the album cover somewhere for those of you who have not downloaded it lol), and the chorus clearly explains, if there was no hate, and everyone got on, ignored the differences between each other and were civil, then we'd possibly see the day where nobody died.
the first verse I'm pretty certain ,i read ,was about the dead guy and his wife....damn if only I could remember where I read it and give you all the link :< -
This song is the most inspiration I have to keep going and helping people I don't even know overseas and in my home country Thanks to Chad Kroger my hero xxx

I think it is about just love the world and don't be mean or selfish just do what is good

To tins packers, I think it's not just about fighting but REALLY NO ONE dying. I mean if everyone cared SO much about eachother and life, they would work so hard to find a cure for that illness. No one would die. It's a very beautiful song. I don't think we appreciate what we have.
We think we know what we want until we get it and find out we don't really want it. No hate to the song AT ALL (this is one of my favorite songs of all time) but I've been thinking and, how would you change the world? If everyone cared about eachother, don't you think we wouldn't get what we wanted? We would give and give because we care, but we don't see that we need to respect ourselves and that would make us bitter cuz we give so much. I wouldn't change the world. This world has made me tough. :) -
Life is short and peopel are so consumed in worrying about themselves that the outcome of the world is being affected.
-
If people got along and loved one another, the world would be a much better place.
-
After studying the music video and listening to the lyrics I feel that this song shows us what was is and can be of the human race nowadays our world has so much hatred within it and sometime we look past what is really important life, love, and independence because what one person says or does can make a huge difference no matter what any person says =)
