What Are You Waiting For Lyrics
Are you waiting on a lightning strike?
Are you waiting for the perfect night?
Are you waiting till the time is right?

I love this one and I want to use it as an example in church. What are you waiting for to serve God? You only live once and in these times you are not sure when you exit your home if you will be back. There is always so many excuses not to serve God and people are mistaking because you dont have to become a nun or not enjoy life anymore. God wants us to enjoy life but He also wants us to repent and be baptized and and be grateful to Him. He wants us to call on Him and not only in troubled times and test Him to see that He does exist. I can go on and on but to make it short, yes in this song I see through the eyes of God. Doesn't matter what Nickelback did or still does, He loves them and He loves sinners more than Christians. Why? Because He is our Father and Fathers love their kids unconditionally. Blessings!

I think they wrote this song to tell everyone that they have a choice to go chase their dreams and shouldn't be afraid of falling. That's life.

I think its just to have faith that no matter what choice you make its a good choice, and that spending time or waiting for someone else to tell you what you should choose isnt helping. You just have to take a leap and make the choise, we all make misstakes so have faith and learn to deal with fear of takeing the leap :)

I think it has something to do with graduating high school and going on to college or getting a career!

Maybe coming from a hard line of drugs, and you decide to change your life around, and turn to the path on the road of rightousness, two roads in life one to hell and one to heaven. What are you waiting for? choose one :)

that a guy is scared to tell a girl how he feels and the he should take a leep of faith and not be scared to tell someone hoe he feels.

I beleive this song is talking about God and talking a leap of faith and making a choice.
