Panic! At The Disco: Miss Jackson Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Miss Jackson Lyrics
No one knows it’s you, Miss Jackson
Found another victim
But no one’s ever gonna find Miss Jackson
You put a sour little flavor in my mouth now
You move in circles hoping no one’s gonna find...

#1 top rated interpretation:I personally think that the video means this: he slept with a girl and is going to leave her with a one-night stand just like he always does and that's the reason for what's shot in the motel room.
The one he's with in the motel room he hooked up with after he stayed with "Miss Jackson". When he found out Miss Jackson is just like him (sleeps around and then leaves right after), he lost his mind figuring out how much it hurt.
The lyrics "you've got him wrapped around your finger" means the guys that Miss Jackson hooks up with fall in love with her afterwards. He then drives to retaliate and find people bowing that have fallen in love with her.
Her sucking in the smoke is her taking their souls and she then takes his. then she gives him the sword realizing what she's done.
By her giving him the sword to stop the hurt she's been causing, it shows that she's giving up that kind of lifestyle. Therefore releasing all of the people dedicated to her i.e. the smoke coming out of her when he kills her with the sword -

I personally think that the song is about a female cereal killer "miss Jackson". who spends the night with a guy in a hotel which we all know what that means and if you don't ask your parents. But she sneaks out and leaves the guy. He is in great pain and thinks he will never find miss Jackson and no one ever will. But she sees how much she hert him so she come to him hands him a sword to end her life. She is done with her ways of leaving and killing people.See she is a cerial killer she just never got a chance to kill this guy because she saw why her ways were wromg. And the smock was all her shame. (Sorry about my spelling)☺☺
-
Personally, I think it's about a female serial killer and her mildly concerned lover. Sort of like Bonnie and Clyde.

This is a response to the Janet Jackson song "Nasty". In Janet's song she sings, "I'm Janet, Miss Jackson if you're nasty." and in this song, Brendan sings "Miss Jackson, Miss Jackson, Miss Jackson are you nasty?"
-
My friend went to their concert an he talked about what the song meant: he said it was about a girl that started cheating on him with his friends and then he started cheating on her with her friends and then he started cheating on the girl with her mom too.
-
In an (old) interview Brendon mentions how he had a girlfriend who cheated on him with other band members. "Where will you be waking up tomorrow morning?" Is who will she be with next. "Out the back door god dang but I love her anyway!" He's saying that he still loves her for that. At the beginning of the song. "Climbing out the backdoor didn't leave a mark no knows it's you Miss Jackson. Found another victim, but no one's gonna find Miss Jackson." She has found another boy that she's cheating on Brendon with.
Overall, it's just about a girl who cheats on Brendon. -
In the song the lyrics go: Climbing out the back door did'nt leavea mark, no one knows it's you Miss Jackson. I think that represents how Brendon slept with her but the parents are home, and Brendon does not want them to know. In an interview Brendon said that when he was younger he used to sleep with one girl and then her best friend the night after. Later in his life his girlfriend did it to him and he felt like crap so in the video it could be about Pontious Pilate because he washes his hands in the motel and they are bloody, and the picture is a prophecy so he has to kill her no matter what. Also off of the Jesus topic, he felt guilty about what he had done when he slept around. The woamn, Miss Jackson, is a female version of the younger Brendon in the video by taking the "smoke" (Soul) of the people in the circle. She realises how she made those people feel and wants Brendon to behead her, therefore giving back the souls that she took. I don't exactly know why he keeps the head though. Hope this helped.

Brendon used to sleep around ALOT, it wasn't until he found someone he really liked, that they "Miss Jackson" did the same to him. so he's like "woah this doesn't feel too great" She's literally driving him insane by playing him at his own game and he doesn't like it. He then realizes that using women (or men for y'all Ryden shippers) isn't something to be proud of, and he starts to feel guilty. He can write a song about it because he can relate Miss Jackson's character to himself, He was the male Miss Jackson. As for the actual name "Miss Jackson" it could have different meanings but the band said it was just a coincidence, they tried Miss Monroe, Miss Hepburn and many others but Jackson fit the best, and the "are you nasty" part fit in in homage to Janet Jackson's music.
-
It's curious that Lolo is featured in this song because she grew up in Jackson.
-
I agree with the interpretation of the woman in the video being a succubus. Succubi "drain" their victims through sexual encounters. The victims often feel amorous toward the Succubi. It's pleasureable for them. The people she is draining are in love with her because she has used her powers to seduce them, including Brendon. He loves her, but he kills her because in the end he knows they're all being hurt by her. I'm not sure why he keeps the body. Maybe out of regret. I'm pretty sure the whole thing is a metaphor for a girl who sleeps with many people and he sacrifices his love for her to save himself and all the others from her toxic relationships.

It references Janet Jackson, look it up.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I believe this song maybe about Brendon breaking girl's heart by sleeping around with them but he meets a girl,Miss Jackson. She ends up doing the same thing to him and he realizes how the people he slept with felt. Therefore at the end the smoke is like him giving up that life and then kills Miss Jackson because she wanted him too and she realized what she had done. It could also be about drugs how he is so paranoid in the beginning, but then towards the end when he kills Miss Jackson he overcomes the addiction. This song could go either way.
-
I think it could possibly be about drugs. You know with "miss Jackson" being drugs. It could show how drugs can be a steady killer. You know, him finding her addicting and harmful but he still ends up going back to her. Also, with her hurting her other people and victimizing them. Finally, how in the video he kills her in the end which could represent him getting over the addiction. In the video, he looks really possessed and twitchy which also leads me to think of drugs being the cause.
-
It could be about a murderer. In the song it says, "Found another victim ... No one knows it's you Miss Jackson"
It could also be about a cat. -
I feel like this song is about how at the beginning he would be the one to take people's hearts and leave the next morning when he is done with them , then near the end he meets "ms Jackson " an she is basically him she takes his heart an leaves the next morning . When he cut her head he is basically letting all of the people they have hurt go there fire by all the smoke coming out her head those are all the people they have slept with and hurt .
