Just Give Me a Reason Lyrics
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them
Now you've been talking in your sleep oh-oh
Things you've...

I guess it's about a woman who fall for a man and did everything to win him over even if it's not the right thing to do because of the consequences that might occur if they entertain that wrong feeling for the reason that she is a married woman. And mind over matter he refuse that love. As time goes by you can feel that love on them that gets stronger and stronger coming to the point of hurting each other just to hide what is really inside. The woman gets tired of waiting and hoping til she decided to stop. And when she is on her way moving on with her own that man start to find way to make her feel that they're really not broken just bent. And someday..maybe someday if they connect and the love is still there with a help of little communication they can fix everything...I think holding on even just for a friendship between them might help them somehow to feel their true love for each other. though they're collecting dust they can come clean for the eyes of anyone..unconditional love..to love, without any expectation..

one of them feels like he/she try to get the relationship work because he/she doesn't feel it right or happy or that the other person it's not happy, and that work doesn't do it; in the other hand the other person don't feel anything wrong in the relationship and don't understand what's happening, and try to convince the other to stay on the relationship because the things that are keeping them apart are small compare to the love that they can have . I´m on that situation, we are on a break and he doesn't understand that we can do it if we try... :'(

I think the song is about how one person was going through some rough times and this special person comes along and helps them, and then they fall in love. Then over time, one person at some point wants out of the relationship because they're not in love anymore and the other is clinging on for hope, for a reason that they should stay together because they love that person so much. One thinks everything is fine, and the other doesn't. It describes me and my (now ex) boyfriend's story perfectly... :'( 3

when the man gives his gf a water, and the girl feels like,
"ow, the way you give me water it is kinda weird. maybe you want to break our relationships?"
the man responses,
"crazy sh*t. just take the fuck** water" -
for me, its all about lost of love, but we can say that there's a big chance if one of them have a Hope, and it can be fix again at the right time if both of them see their worth and value and also if one of them have a guts to fight for their love and accept their mistakes and build there new LOVE and trust, also it's there challenge if they were meant for each other they were.. lesson learned" accept the past, and be good in the present"

We had a serious arguement, both said cruel things we shouldn't have said. We didn't make up. Basically our relationship (17 years together) went on "auto-pilot" getting busy with children, work etc. Weeks later, he had completley forgiven and forgotton, but I was festering, holding it in, dying inside, crying in my sleep. I impulisvely decieded that our marriage was broken beyond repair. One afternoon after much Crying I was about to do something stupid.... Parked my car as I stopped this song came on the radio - changed my whole perspective.my marriage was just bent, not broken. THANK YOU PINK & NATE

What does it mean when she said "we're collecting dust but our love's enough"?
-
That there's still hope even if it seems like there's not you should always try again if your in a relationship
-
i think it means that the couple is falling apart because of miss-communication, she believes he doesn't love her anymore so she is driving herself paranoid and claims that he said he doesnt love her anymore in his sleep and keeps saying whatever is wrong they can fix it and he won't have to leave her. When she confront him about it he doesn't know what she is talking about, and that there is nothing wrong, and she was just imagining it. But she doesn't believe him..
Over all, this song is just fantastic. Great vocals on both parts. -
the moral of this song is that whatever is broken, its not the end, its just bent. you can fix it again and live on!
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
It mean no matter how hard it get you'll still try to make it work and sometimes still there. Not broken just bent
-
I think the idea of the song is that two people in a relationship are drifting apart, and one of them feels it's best if they just split because the love isn't there anymore. However, the other partner believes that there is still a flicker of hope left to save the relationship. He or she believes that their love is buried deep beneath layers of things, and if they put all their effort into fixing the relationship, they can make it work again.
