Pink: Fucking Perfect Meaning
Fucking Perfect Lyrics
Once or twice
Dug my way out
Blood and fire
Bad decisions
That's alright
Welcome to my silly life
Mistreated, misplaced,
Misunderstood
Miss knowing it's all good
It didn't slow me down.
Mistaken
Always second...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think she's telling the whole world and at the same time she hopes her daughter will learn that Pink will love her no matter what. Doesn't matter if we don't seem perfect to ourselves because there's always going to be someone out there who loves us for being imperfect, like the guy at the end of the movie, who married her despite all the crap that happened in her life. I think she wants her daughter to know that even though she may not find what she wants to find in herself, someone else will find it in her.

#2 top rated interpretation:This song really speaks to me. I find it perfectly clear what this song means. The world will always want you to be a certain way... Beautiful, thin, conformed. I think the song is a general message to everyone who listens. Don't be who others want you to be, because you are nothing less than perfect the way you are. With a good majority of the messages in her songs, P!NK always suggests individuality and no conforming to society. In it's simplest form, the message is this: People will try and try and try again to tell you not to be different, not to be something new. Embrace the person you are, because the person you are is fucking perfect. That's my interpretation of the song.

#3 top rated interpretation:i think its about how people can feel like they're never good enough, but that if they remember that everyone's perfect in their own way, they can realize they're perfect in someone's eyes.

Everyone makes mistakes. And yeah there will be people who judge and want nothing to do with you. But all you can do is love yourself no matter what.

My interpretation of the song is that what makes you perfect is the real you just the way that you are you are perfect fa thin short tall rich poo smart dumb after all it was gonna be ashame if we were all the same so we are perfect
-
To me the song is about who you are, personally to me it means so so much to me because I'm forever comparing myself to other, I constantly feel ugly because I'm so skinny& I hate who I am, and my parents don't get why I am like I am, I'm jealous of my sister because she smarter etc than me, but the song makes me realise I'm just 'perfect' the way I AM!

I think this song means:
That it doesn't matter if people don't like who you are,
It doesn't matter if they judge you,
Who cares if they won't be your friend because you are different,
Be who you are and don't let any one change that,
You are perfect just the way you are. -
I think this song is about loving and excepting who you are. To not listen to people who put you down. Like the song says, you are perfect.

It's about self-harm, depression, and just making it through. Wikipedia says it was a follow-up to "Raise Your Glass", a song dedicated to gay/les/bi's. P!nk is mah idol!

P!nk originally wrote this song as a tribute to her husband, but then it became a tribute to her fans, to show them how much they meant to her, and how important they are. It was also to show them that no matter how different you are, you're perfect in her eyes.

this song is kinda like firework from katy perry and is very easy to understand...most of the time.it simply states that everyone is perfect in their own way and shouldnt try to change for someone else or just to get popular, even though people make fun of u who cares the may be jealous that u are so cool and actually dont care who the crap people think u are...they should love u for whats on the inside and if they dont then they arent really who u want to be around,so love who u are and dont change urself because of any reason all of u are awesome, crazy, and buetiful people so dont let anyone tell u,u arent!!! ;)

She wrote the song for her baby, telling her she will always love her no matter what she will do and that she will always be perfect for her no matter what other people may say.

This song was made by P!nk her self when she was 16 and going through a very hard time in her life. She was trying to tell her self and everyone like her that they are PERFECT no matter what anyone says. This song has helped me through many times in my life. I have been bullied constantly for having read hair, glasses, pig tails, being a tomboy, and even for the clothing I wear. I tried to speak out for my self that difference isn't bad and yet no one listened there was just more wait added on to me to be like everyone else. Perfect beautiful and proud. All the boys want curves and a upper upper area if you know what I mean but my body and genes won't allow it so I am the lowest of the low and I think this is what P!nk is trying to say that you don't need to please them you just need to please your self.

I believe that it's beautiful that most of the comments above refer to the love between a mother and a child, ie: unconditional, perfect love. Yet, in reality, nothing or nobody is perfect. We all have flaws. We all make mistakes. We all have been victims of judgemental, narrow-minded individuals. And above all there is not one person on Earth who has led a "perfect" life. Yet, I truly believe that the line "pretty pretty please....etc..." is Pink's messsage to all of us... find it in your heart to FEEL that PERFECT LOVE 4 yourself. Forget your critics, ignore your so-called "haters", move past your mistakes, no matter how big or small.... and most of all? Leave those behind... those people who tried to make you feel less... less of yourself, less of the "you" that lives within your heart and soul. You, yourself... are all that you truly know, feel, understand and moreover will have in the end. Nothing is perfect but the love that you can feel for yourself, forgiveness to those who wish you harm.... and the fact that there is always someone to rely on.... you. Thank you Pink, Love, Me... gr8 song...

I believe that Pink is trying to covey with the world which of corse includes her daughter.
As she explains in the begining is how we all made mistakes and hiw people mistreats us and treats us badly. Someone will hurt us and bring us down to the point were (as in the vid) suicide happens and then in the sing some were it says" change those voises in your head" the voises are the ppl in ur head saying those ppl are right. She is trying to tell us YOUR PERFECT IN YOUR OWN WAY! Which i no for certain EVERY teen goes thru..... In my opinion. Also she is tellin her daughter that she is perfect to her and the world and thats all that matters.
