   It’s about when he lost his best friend to addiction and calls it an ugly truth he is faced with the reality of his death. He is losing hope even when he calls out to God. He is wanting God to take his life. He Thinks of his friend who died of addiction reminds him of an ugly truth when it comes to his Very own addictions “100 bottles of denial” won’t bring you back what am I to do? He is in denial of his own addictions. He wants to know if his friend is in Heaven or hell. He asks God If will He save him. All too real. I love you Posty. Great song.

   the whole vibe the song gave off was like post either lost or searched for something. and there was stages of grief denial, anger, and acceptance at the end but it was clear he still wasn’t done searching. it could be a girl, himself, or something more spiritual, like a lost ghost or soul. but the whole song sounds paranormal, something from another world.

He’s desperate to find her but realizes that it’s impossible so he’s hoping the waves will wash her to shore in his dreams. He knows that she too is out there wondering where he is. Will you save us means that he wants her to find him, because he feels like they are meant for eachother. They are. They both felt like something was missing. It was each other.

Or will you run away?” is about his girlfriend being the only one who can decide to quit this lifestyle whenever she wants and not having all this rockstar drama over her And his wishing that she would go back and save him from all his demons. She has the freedom to just get out of his life (been on the other side) but at the same time he don’t want to leave him
