Post Malone: I Fall Apart Meaning
Song Released: 2017
I Fall Apart Lyrics
Ooh yeah, mm
She told me that I'm not enough, yeah
And she left me with a broken heart, yeah
She fooled me twice and it's all my fault, yeah
She cut too deep, now she left me scarred, yeah
Now there's too many thoughts...

#1 top rated interpretation:Austin Post or Post Malone wrote this song in a response to a breakup. In this breakup it is seen Austin is very close to his partner as seen in some of the lines ...You were my shorty I thought... and it can also be concluded that she cheated on him as seen when he says ...Devil in the form of a whore... This song also notes how much of a physical toll this takes on him especially when he says I fall apart down to my core. This may have been so painful for him because he had no idea to expect it. You see this when he says ...didnt know it before, surprised when you caught me offgaurd... and he feels like he wasted money on this girl when he speaks about the jewelry. Overall this is just a song on the toll physically, emotionally, and financially this relationship and breakup had on him

#2 top rated interpretation:Its about a man who loved and cared for someone. When they first got together they made a pact that it would last. But nothing ever goes as planned and somebody has to get blindsided right, it only takes one person to fall out of love and then it will destroy the other.

This song means to me how he left me in the dark …. When we first met it was so magical something I never felt on a emotional level. I gave all my love and strength I was never good enough he fooled me twice leaving and returning all for statues
-
when he said " she cut to deep and left me scarred" it means she hurt him so bad it mentally and emotionally hurt him to the point it feels like a scar because scars never leave your body

Its about khloe. He says that he was in love with someone that would say mean things to him. He wasnt good enough, but was good enough for her to spend money on her (even though she has her own) when he sees that he makes someone happy with buying things like $1000 bottles of alcohol and Large bank on jewelery, one likes to think thats what someone really wants. The not enough was that liquor and jewelry are not enough. That person wants more than that. Maybe he thought buying her material things would make an impression. She has her own money. She wants the inner post malone not the one that buys alcohol and jewelery. He may have just wanted her for clout or popularity. When a man gets shot down, there goes his ego especially with a woman of high status. No matter what, she should never had told him things to hurt him. The line that stood out really hard was "devil in the form of a whore". That line is a statement that i dont know if people understand but when he says that, hes saying that hes attracted to whores. The deeper meaning is that post malone knows the devil knows that post malone likes to delight in whores and he used that for post malone to get trapped into. Its not that in unfortunate events he gets the wrong girl cuz they sleep around.

This song is about a horrible break up, and it's obvious he really cared about her and it really hurt him.

This song is clearly about heartbreak, which I, a top shagger no nothing about. Yes I have had relationships with the beautiful Flora and she did leave me but I don’t miss her, I don’t think about her everyday and not let my friends joke about her. No she’s just some girl who definitely did NOT break my heart. Although if you’re reading this Flora please take me back, pretending to know the words to this song live aren’t as good as being with you x

This song by post malone talks about being left and hurt by somebody else's actions. This may make us feel as if it were our faults and that we were the reason everything happened. This songs sends us the message that we don't want to hurt the people we care about so we make ourselves seem small. We blame ourselves for things someone else took for granted and that thing is our love.
“She fooled me twice and it’s all my fault”.

This is a sad love story.

This is about a girl we went to high school with and he was too chicken to ask her out because he was just a goofy kid. Later I dated the same girl and he would leave her messages and text her how he wish’s he could go back and how he thought she was different. So now you know!
