1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:The song is for those turning to commit suicide. After giving yourself away for/to love, you truly have nothing to give. Living becomes pointless... and no matter how bright the days are, the dark side always become brighter. People either Die or Leave.. To Die is much comforting.

I think its about taking on problems for/with other people and still having our own insecurities within ourselves therefore when a problem comes around its easy to “blame it on me” cause we take on so much to help other people forget their issues
You have to be a broken person to understand the meaning behind this song -
Blame it on me:
Could be about our addictions. If we have a relationships we damaged during our active addictions..Blame it on me sounds like us in denial during that time.
