Raspberry Beret Lyrics
My boss was Mr. McGee
He told me several times that he didn't like my kind
'Cause I was a bit too leisurely
Seems that I was busy doing something close to nothing
But different than the day...

Whenever I hear the line in through the out door it reminds me of a special time picking someone up from the airport. I was running late and fearful that I had missed them. As I entered the airport the person I was picking up was coming out. As we saw each other there was a moment in time that stopped. I don’t think I will ever forget the look that we exchanged during that brief connection.
