This song speaks realms to Borderline Personality Disorder

    Everything in its right place
Borderline OCD, every object in their world needs to be where they want it in order to gain a sense of control.

Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon.
Constantly haunted by bad feelings they cannot identify

There are two colours in my head
Black and white borderline thinking, good/evil love/hate, there is no gray in their interpretation of the world, their world is polarised.

What was that your trying to say
Borderlines live in deluded self distorted interpretation of the world and themselves. People are objects and they don’t listen to them. You cannot reason with them you can’t get past their denial.

To me this song is about finding safety in insanity. The person in this song is clearly losing his mind. But as he loses his mind he becomes more, and more okay with the idea.

I read this book by this autistic person. It took him years to learn to type, he couldn't speak so this was his means of communication.
Most of the time he is pissed at how stupid people are because of how stupid they assume he is. Anyway, when I read this book, I thought of this song.
Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon
There are two colors in my head
What was that you tried to say
Yesterday I had a bitter taste in my mouth
I only see in black and white
    I don't understand non-literal terms.
    Everything in its right place
