Rihanna: Diamonds Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Diamonds Lyrics
Shine bright like a diamond
Find light in the beautiful sea
I choose to be happy
You and I, you and I
We’re like diamonds in the sky
You’re a shooting star I see
A vision of ecstasy
When you hold me, I’m...
-
I think it's about beauty.
-
Shine bright like a diamond
-
I just think this about Chris Brown. you don't have to think it is about satan she just singing about her love
-
The song was dedicated to Chris Brown, NOT Satan. ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
i hear as if she says shine bright like a demon but she can change for the Lord and use her talent and beauty to praise God
-
There are people who do sinful things, but they aren't necessarily trying to promote Satan (be illuminati). This is probably about a simple relationship with drugs. Yes, it's wrong, but is Rihanna purposely working with the devil? You can't call every sinful artist illuminati, esp based on two lines! It's not our right to judge her soul, though if you feel that singing about drugs is sinful, yes you can judge her actions. If you're on the fence about this song, don't listen to it. I first heard it when I didn't catch the drug references, but when I did I stopped listening. Now the video I haven't watched, but based on what I've read here, it's either about Satan or molly.
Bottom line, I'm not gonna read too far into it, but I still don't think the meaning is good, so I won't listen. -
It is not about satan or Chris Brown, Rihanna didn't write this song, Sia did.
-
Song has nothing to do with Rihanna because it was written by Sia.
-
You guys are being foolish of yourselves.. Leave rihanna alone.. She is not talking about satan.. Its just a song.. Im christian and i dont see anything wrong with it.. What you are doing is making a big deal about it for no reason.. How about go pick on a different singer or LEAVE THEM ALONE! Is it bothering you? THEN DONT POST IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA! KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! think before you write something THAT IS NOT TRUE!
-
Yea I even feel like she sings it like, 'Shine bright like a demon'. That explains itself.
-
oh people please stop being so damn silly .
why do you like to relate all songs of Rihanna to Satan....
it's got nothing to do with that
this way that u're thinking , u can even find even in a pure Carrie Underwood's song !
see it's so funny
if u don't like Rihanna don't listen to her songs , there's no force ....
u're just gettin' used to find a satanic meaning in her songs no matter what she sings
I even was this way for a while after I first has read these interpretations and I saw that it only makes me feel uncomfortable...
let go of this way of thinking , and if U care so much about the unique God (who I do love) just go live your life as good human beings...
what gets to me from this song is just the state of being beautiful (inside) when u and your lover are together.... -
Jay z lifts up a hand sign he claims to be a diamond right?? He also looks through it. That symbol resembles the masonic eye above the pyramid... Which happens to be shinning AND in the sky... Enough said
-
i would like to comment on the second verse
palms raised to the universe is a sign of worship. but we are sure Riri isn't talking about Jehova. this , bcos the worship is as they "moonshine ans molly" which is alcohol and ecstasy and cannot be associated with Jehova.only satan can be worshipped as you moonshine and molly.
the shooting star- stan is her vision of ecstasy and without him, she feels dead. i really regret ever singing this song at all. now i know what i was saying. JESUS!!!!!!
