Saints and Angels Lyrics
-
This is such a hopeful song.
On the surface it is about a couple who has gone through struggles but can overcome that with the power of love. Learning from these struggles allows for grace to enter as long as one is open to it.
The reference to the "feet of clay" means that, yes, we will always be flawed, but we can continue on our path toward grace and redemption if we don't stray. And, in fact, we won't stray because we are blessed to be saints and angels.
