This song is basically about man being overthrown by robots, which he created. This can be seen in the song, when they sing: "The problem's plain to see/ Too much technology/ Machines to save our lives/ Machines dehumanize/" Meaning, even though robots can help us and "save our lives," they can also have a negative effect and "dehumanize," or, kill the humans and take over.
