Nuguns Lyrics

And the little boy stared
Into the eyes of the night
Button collects price of his time
Little girl glared
Sheets of denial
The bullet connects to the price of her crime

What have we said
Wasn't it their bed
What of our presence
Haven't...

Some of these lyrics are tough to interpret, but I’m assuming this song is about 2 virgins, a boy and a girl born in the newer generation. The boy sees delight in having sex with the girl, and he has a goal to get with her, so he spends time trying tiger er with her, pressing the button if the time he spent trying to convince her. The little girl glared, sheets of denial, meaning she’s into it but is denying, and in doing so the shot that he sent towards her connects even stronger because she is not going with what she wants, making the desire even stronger. Now the little boy sees through the eyes of her delight of what he’s done, making her erect at the the note of his rhyme, or what he’s saying to her, also him getting erect from what he’s saying to her. Little girl bled, meaning they’ve both had sex the first time, or atleast the girl. And then saying “what have we said? Wasn’t it their bed? What a presence, haven’t we paid penance? To the NuGuns?” I interpret that as possibly the previous generation saying, what did we do? This was their choice, and we have came clean our own mistakes, are we to blame for their choices? In the end, the song seems to be leaning towards these 2 individuals engaging in sex before the time was truly right.

To me this song is about to different people growing up a boy and a girl who one becomes a song artist the boy(levers erect note of his rhyme) and one who becomes a prostitute the girl(little girl bled sheets of the night lovers conect to the price of his dime)
There stories differ the boy becoming famous by becoming a song writer and the girl struggling whichs ends in her becoming a prostitute.
Then there stories intertwine when the boy buys the girl for a night out but the police find out and arrest them but the girl runs and is shot.

I think this has to do with a couple having sex for the first time."Now the little boy sees through the eyes of delight" meaning the boy sees how much the girl enjoys sex.
"Levers erect note of his rhyme" meaning he knows that she likes it and that he keeps going."Little girl bled sheets of the night"
When he put his penis in for the first time she started to bleed and it went on the sheets of the bed they were having sex on. and finally "the lovers connect to the price of his dime" meaning that they are "connected" as one. But, "the price of his dime" part I cant seem to figure what it means.

However, the other lyrics in the song don't seem to match the idea of the couple having sex for the first time, so I am kinda wrong.

This is what I first thought when i saw the lyrics. I am not really sure what the real meaning is, other than from that verse.

Another thought I have is that, they know they are about to be killed and they want to have sex before they die, kinda like a "everything I want to do before I die list" but shorted, I guess. Once again I am not 100% sure that I am correct but if someone can find the meaning please submit it.

I think this song relates to passionate crime. As an example, check out these lines:

    "Sheets of denial.
The Bullet connects to the price of her crime.
    What have we said,
    Wasn't it their bed,
    What of our presence,
    Haven't we payed penance.
    To the new guns?"

Her crime was denying him and saying no to this love, as stated by "sheets of denial". Therefore, he came and killed her for "the price of her crime". And I do believe she was threatened by him, as stated on those last lines "Haven't we payed penance / To the new guns?". She didn't give up on what she believed and got killed.

I personally think this song is about prostitution.

    "Little girl glared
    Sheets of the denial
The bullets connects to the price of her crime."

    What have we said
    Wasn’t it their bed."

    "Now the little boy sees
    Through the eyes of delight."

The list of lines relating to prostitution goes on and on.

this is only my interpretation, I could be wrong.
