Old School Hollywood Lyrics
Hollywood,
Baseball,
Old school Hollywood baseball,
Tony Danza cuts in line,
Old school Hollywood,
Washed up Hollywood,
Standing in the sun,
I'm wasting my time,
Old school Hollywood,
Washed up Hollywood,
Old school...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about Daron at a celebrity baseball game, Jack Gillardi was the organizer and acted like he was "in charge" and better than everyone- "jack Gillardi's 10 feet tall!".... and the belt statement refers to the batman reference.
tony danza cuts in line".. This refers to Tony danza bitching and complaning about not being clean up hitter and getting up and changing the batting order himself and giving it to himself! -

#2 top rated interpretation:Here ya go.........daron did play on a celeb baseball team, when daron was walking in, tony danza ran up in front of him in the line, acting as if he was royalty. daron had to play outfield in the hot sun when he realized he was wasting his time. jack gilardie was the organizer of the event so he felt all big like he was 10 feet tall. frankie avalon played outfield with daron and was the only cool actor there.....blah blah blah. later

#3 top rated interpretation:Daron Malakian has told the story numerous times about this song. He played in a Celebrity Baseball Game in LA, living a childhood dream of playing in Dodger Stadium.
The celebrities there, like Tony Danza, Jack Gilardi, Frankie Valli, etc were arrogant, and it was a nightmare-like being back in grade school. The whole thing was a joke, with the "stars" acting like a pack of royalty, when they were really a big bag of failure. -
daron malakian actually said in a live interview a few years ago that this song is about him going to a celebrity baseball game. jack giliardi was thinking he was in charge, "jack giliardi's 10 ft tall". "tony Danza cuts in line" is saying tony danza was complaining about something that i forgot. "hey man dont u touchmy belt" is a batman reference from an episode with guest star jack giliardi.
