This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song Lyrics

There's nothing wrong with me
There's something wrong with you
There's something wrong with me
I hope your stepson doesn't eat the fish
When we're crying for our next fix

There's nothing wrong with me
There's something wrong with...

I agree with the first one...
and its mostly just a song about getting high...
or just something to go crazy to.

I personally think that this song is about some random dude HIGH on cocaine and talkin about how nothing is wrong with him and denying the cocaine use. And that I hope your stepson don't eat the fish shit I think is a way of changing the subject so they stop askin so many questions or whatever but that's just me go ahead and say what ya want that's just what I think.

Maybe I completely missed the boat on this one. I was watching a special about whales on pbs and it mention that there are government controls about the type of fish that can be sold at market. Basically fishermen want to catch younger specimens who haven't been subjected to pollution for long enough that the flesh is actually toxic. If a fish which has been eating other fish has too high levels of heavy metals in it's flesh it's actually considered toxic and has to be disposed of a propper way. I imagined S.O.A.D. was trying to warn us that the fish that we can eat is just a percentage less than that which is disposed of as toxic waste. And you can imagine that the fishing companies work hard at keeping the accepted levels high so they can legally sell more of what they catch. This is why pregnant women are told to keep their fish consumtion low, it can hurt the baby. In other words don't eat the fish. And the connection to cocaine is just another form of self-pollution. I liked this song until I found out most people completly took it a different way.

If this is all just a song about oral sex and stds that's just stupid, it might as well have been not written at all. What idiot didn't already know that being high while having sex increases your likelihood of getting stds?

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

To add to the first interpretation, which is spot on, the way the song is sung also reflects how one acts while on cocaine. That's all... :)

Before I read that interpretation above, I though this song was about eating dirty pussy. It talks about not eating the "fish", a smell sometimes associated with the lower female genital when they are infected, and it also talks about gonorrhea which is an STD, so basically I thought it meant don't eat pussies that have STDs. Also, it says "there's nothing wrong with me, there's something wrong with you, there's something wrong with me." This could be talking about how he didn't have an STD, then he ate dirty pussy, and now he has one. That's just what I thought, but I guess the drug reference is more justifiable.
