This song was written by the band itself about Sid Vicious and Nancy. Joey Ramone use to be close with Sid "Sid and Nancy meant a lot to me". He basically talks about how drugs do you no good and how Sid ended up dead and all he wanted was some fun. In the end Joey says "It leaves me with a bitter taste that Love Kills". Basically saying even the most perfect couple lost in the end and that love hurts for the most part.
