Tokio Hotel: Pain of Love Meaning
Pain of Love Lyrics
Won't break us up
We don't need your salvation.
The pain of love
Will never stop
We are our own creation.
The pain of love
Lives in our heart
It's deeper than the ocean
The pain of love
Waits in the dark
We take it in...
-
i think it is about the love between siblings/twins and saying how nothing can come between tom and bills love for eachother
-
I think pain of love is about being in a toxic relationship and not leaving because you do actually love each other I just not in a healthy way for example
The pain of love won't break us up
We don't need your salvation
The pain of love will never stop
We are our own creation
To me this is basically saying that these people will stay together even if you try to help because it’s for the better and that the pain they feel from being in this relationship is their faults
The pain of love lives in our hearts
It's deeper than the ocean
The pain of love waits in the dark
We take it in slow motion
And this part kinda goes back to what I was talking about when I said that you can actually love each other and it still be toxic and for the part that says “ we take it in slow motion “ I mean you can’t always see that something is wrong at first this is just my take on it as someone who has grown up around this type of stuff but I think it depends on your own personal experiences
