Tokio Hotel: Scream Meaning
Scream Lyrics
And somebody tells you
Where to go to
When you get there
Everybody's telling you
What to do
Thank you
It's been another
Bloody Monday
And noone
Is asking what you wanted
Anyway
NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN...
-
I think scream is about the part of being famous that we don’t see like for example in the first part when it says
You get up and somebody tells you where to go to
When you get there everybody’s telling you what to do
Thank you it’s been another bloody Monday
And no one is asking what you wanted anyway
Is them saying how when your famous you get bossed around and told what to do and most the time you have no say in what you do and Nein means no in German so it’s them rebelling and saying no and as far as the SCREAM part screaming is a way of venting and expressing yourself this is just my take on it

You get up
And somebody tells you
Where to go to
When you get there
Everybody's telling you
What to do
Thank you
It's been another
Bloody Monday
And noone
Is asking what you wanted
Anyway
This part is just mentioning the people who try to control you, tell you what to do, and pretty much boss you around without asking your opinion, and not caring what you want. (And noone is asking what you wanted anyway)
NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN
NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN
Nein, means no in German. So this is just rebelling and saying no to what everyone wants.
SCREAM 'till you feel it
SCREAM 'till you believe it
SCREAM and when it hurts you
Scream it out loud
SCREAM 'till you feel it
SCREAM 'till you believe it
SCREAM and when it hurts you
Scream it out loud
Scream... (Scream it out loud)
Screaming in this sense is used at venting, and again, rebelling.
Watch out
Stay awake
They're lurking
Obsess you
They are always
Working
Promising
Everything you
Never asked for
And one day
It'll be too late
And you'll
Beg for more
Hmm.. I think of this as producers, or just regular people, promising you all this stuff. And when it becomes a reality, you give in and want more and more.
Back to zero
Your time's about to come
Let them know
You're not just anyone
(Scream...)
Basically, tell those people, you're not just someone they can boss around, and that you won't let them control you.
Your time's about to come
I think of this as your time to tell the world who you are, or to stand out.
- Squirrel Zombie -
Scream is about saying what you want -or better yet screaming it out loud to get your point across. Don't let anybody tell you who you are. Scream it to them saying who you are.
