    I think he is writing about what’s on his mind and how badly he needs to tell someone who will actually listen to him. His head is full of pain and my interpretation is that he feels like he is drowning in his own mind, and by telling someone about his problems it will slowly get better. He obviously hopes that this particular person stays with him after he told about his pain. He hopes to be healed. He wants to be understood by someone loved.
