Train: If It's Love Meaning
If It's Love Lyrics
I'm usually getting in it
I'm not in it to win it
And there's a thousand ways you can skin it
My feet have been on the floor
Flat like an idle singer
Remember winger
I digress
I confess you are the best...

Um! Duh! Lol take it as you will who the hell knows who Henry lee is.

Great song, no doubt its a guy who's been through the rough and tumble of life and love and has found himself, despite all his (and her) anxieties and doubts, desperately in love. Looking with great hope at building and sharing a wonderful life together in the pursuit of happiness.
Well versed in the first person, flows beautifully and truly matches a state of mind equal to the preserved public life of train.
Few jabs at the current state of the music industry, TV produced pseudo "artists" with limited talent for singing (flat) and lyrical development (a thousand ways you can spin it). With Train taking the long hard road to success creating some of the best meaningful music in recent times, these flash in the pan success stories could seem comical. -
The guy want to show everything to the girl, even he's afraid with a lot of things thet might come between them, will not matter, the guy still loves and want to be with the girl ( notice the last sentence on every paragraph of the lyrics) " I confess you are the best thing in my life"; But you are the greatest thing about me"; "love, love. Thats enough for me"; " I love you from your toes to your face". Are some examples... Deep and solid son for someone you truly love.!

The guy's falling in love with the girl and thinking about their story and their future before proposing.
